This is a small plywood wormery, 2 foot by 1 foot by 1 foot deep.
It can take the kitchen waste from perhaps a single person, but ideally would be doubled up, so it was twice the size.
This is small and portable and is used as a demonstration wormery.
It has layer of black pond liner over the waste, then a layer of felt for insulation, and a wooden lid.
It has drainage holes in the base.
Being
wood, it breaths more than a plastic wormery, so moisture does not
build up in the same way. There is no run-off, trickling out the bottom,
even though it was designed with an arrangement underneath to catch any
liquid.
